The Paloma West Ranch, located in South Texas, is the 2016 home for the Outdoor Texas Girls’ Camp. This camp will focus on hunting activities with some fishing skills taught. The ranch has a wonderful pool and the accommodations are first class. The ranch is perfect for teaching and enjoying all aspects of outdoor activities and hunting education.

The small number of campers, 14, ensures maximum personal instruction which has a lot to do with the success of the camp.The camp's curriculum has been designed to be unique and innovative while maximizing safety, fun and learning.

Typical Camp Day

7:00 am - Wake up
7:30 am - Breakfast
8:00 am - Activity Session I (Ex. Archery – 3D)
10:00 am - Activity Session II (Ex. Rifle)
12:00 pm - Lunch / Cabin Time / Inside Instruction
1:00 pm - Cabin or Special Activity Time
3:00 pm - Activity Session III (Ex. Game Calling)
4:30 pm - Activity Session IV (Ex. Archery – Hunt Trail)
6:00 pm - Dinner
7:00 pm - Evening Activity Session V (Ex. Laser Shot)
9:00 pm - Cabin or Special Activity
10:00 pm - Lights out

Camp Instructors

All Outdoor Texas Camp Instructors are selected based on 1) their knowledge of the subject, 2) their field experience and 3) their ability to communicate with the campers in a positive manner. The Outdoor Texas Staff is no doubt the "Best of the Best."
