Take it outside on this fishing adventure in Southern Colorado's beautiful San Juan Valley. Choose up to six days of guided fishing with fellow anglers with a minimum of four people.

Hidden within Southern Colorado’s San Juan Mountains is a valley so beautiful that you will marvel at its perfection. With 970 acres, two fully restored historic cabins, a herd of elk and three miles of fabulous fly fishing flowing through it all, it is a place that will inspire all who visit to want to return again.

Ideally suited to private parties or families of four or more, this ranch offers its guests understated quality, utter privacy and indescribable beauty. Anglers have exclusive walk and wade access to two remarkable properties including the home waters of the ranch's Rio Blanco and seven miles of the meandering Weminuche. With easy wading, great dry fly fishing and plenty of trout pushing 20 inches, this undiscovered gem is one of the finest and most fairly priced private water venues in the west.

While each of the two cabins can take at least six guests, the ranch does not mix groups, ensuring each group’s privacy. Non-anglers can enjoy guided horseback rides on the property as well as a host of interesting activities in the surrounding area.

Accommodations

Cabin #1

The original four-bedroom, three-bath log cabin has been renovated to sleep seven comfortably. The cabin offers the convenience of a full kitchen, living room with fireplace, washer, dryer, telephone and internet access (if getting away from it all requires the occasional check-in).

Cabin #2

The second cabin on the ranch offers similar features as cabin #1 with a full kitchen, working fireplace in living room, washer, dryer, telephone and internet access along with two baths and four bedrooms that can sleep a total of ten guests.

The Ranch

Rimmed by soaring peaks, the gently rolling basin that embraces this ranch forms an enclave of serenity, beauty and quietude. Recently refurbished, the original cabins are warm and homey with contemporary tastes. They nestle near rustic barns and corrals in the sweeping meadows of the ranch. Nearby flows the Rio Blanco, a first-class trout stream that offers a wealth of deep pools and shallow riffles, ideal for catching large and colorful browns, brookies and rainbows. The stream burbles and dances through the ranch and adds natural melody to the background music of birdsong.

Fly & Cast Fishing

If fly fishing is what you are looking for, this place delivers! This lodge is home to miles of private river, expertly restored, bountiful with a large number of quality trout.

This property's lakes and ponds also fish exceptionally well and are set in picturesque Colorado valleys. The fishing guides are some of the most experienced in the region and will work hard to make your fishing vacation both breathtaking and unforgettable.
