Itinerary

Guests should depart Anchorage on the early Ravn Air flight on Saturday. Upon arrival in Aniak, you will be taken to the base lodge where you will meet the staff, have lunch, and change into your waders and fishing gear.

You will fish your way to the New Lodge, located twenty-five miles up the Aniak River, where a hot shower and meal will be waiting. For the next few days you will fish from the New Lodge, and then you will head up to the 5-Star Tent Lodge.

After two days spent here, you will head back down river to the New Lodge for a fantastic farewell dinner.

Saturday you leave the New Lodge to head back to the Base Lodge where you can organize your belongings before being shuttled to the airport.

Guiding

Your day starts when you are ready to get on the water. Fishing is accessed using jet boats. Fish from the boat, or get out and wade if you like. There are many braids to explore and smaller tributaries to fish. The guides will be there to navigate and show you where the best places are to fish. They will assist you the entire time you are fishing.

For the few nights spent at our tent camp, if you didn’t get your fill of fishing you can head back out after dinner. There is superb fishing to be had right from camp; no need to take off the waders to eat! Soak up that Alaska daylight, which is close to 24 hours a day during our summer season.

We encourage catch-and-release fishing at all times. In the event that you wish to pack your legal limit of salmon to take home, we can make that happen.
