When you are not enjoying the spacious and private accommodations, or carefully prepared cuisine overlooking the Big Hole river, you will be float, fly fishing on the Big Hole or Beaverhead rivers, or another nearby water with one of the expert guides. You will normally depart between 7:30 and 8:00 AM and you will be out all day unless you would prefer a shorter angling adventure. They do not watch the clock but more make a strong effort to be in the right place at the right time with the right fly.
You will be served a breakfast that is hard to forget and easy to look forward to, a shore lunch that is fully fantastic, and dinner to die for. An open bar awaits you as does service and hospitality carefully crafted to anticipate what makes our anglers come back year after year.
The guides will be there to prepare your fly fishing rods with the proper line and fly selection. Drift boat fly fishing will allow you to cover miles of water in only a few hours time. The boats are designed for optimal fly fishing, with a low gunwale and knee locks for your stability when casting. While on the water, the guides will not just be rowing for you but will also be telling you where to cast towards, when to set the hook and assisting in landing the fish on the boat. No prior fly fishing experience is necessary, the guides are there to help.
This outfitter also has a vast amount of permits on the Bighole and Beaverhead rivers from the Montana Department of Fish, Wildlife and Parks. They also have USFS permits for 50 launches along the infamous Rock Creek. Rock Creek is a private access fishing stream that has only about 200 access points. Float trips on the Bitterroot, Jefferson and Missouri are also an option on your stay.
