From the Late 1800's to the mid 1900's, Georgia was know as the "Quail Capital of the World." This title was justified by the large abundance of wild bobwhite quail across the state. This hunting plantation is dedicated to creating an environment for wild quail to thrive. The beauty of quail hunting is having the opportunity to walk in the outdoors with some of your very best friends while watching some great bird dogs hunt for quail. When quail hunting you do not have to sit quiet in a stand. Walking the beautiful property and carrying on a conversation while waiting on a covey to bust in the air is what makes quail hunting so spectacular.

Wing shooting has long been known as the ultimate gentlemen's sport that is loved by all ages. This plantation has courses designed for beginners or those looking for easy walking while also catering to advanced hunters that need a challenge. This plantation features Georgia quail hunting at its best with six huge courses to enjoy. Quail hunting season for plantations starts October 1, 2015 and ends March 31, 2016.

Whether you are in one of the many beautiful sorghum fields or a stand of southern loblolly pine, your quail hunt will be one you always remember. Bring your son, daughter, old friend or business associates and let them take care of you. This outfitter has some great dogs and down to earth guides.

The Hunting Preserve

This property has been family-owned for five generations. Farming along with harvesting pecans and timber have long been the focal point of this property. In 2007 the family decided to turn their beautiful mix of loblolly pines, hardwoods and vast fields into a top notch hunting preserve. Join them for this unique opportunity to hunt a variety of picturesque upland courses. This hunting preserve is positioned between Athens and Augusta and is an hour and a half from Atlanta. They arrange transportation to and from Washington Wilkes Airport which is only 10 minutes away.
